I grew up working in the woods in the Pacific Northwest. I was always surrounded by all of the great things such as the rugged mountains, the streams and all of the wildlife. Even though I live on the Oregon coast, I never really took to the ocean (too cold - way too much wind!).

I have always enjoyed taking pictures, but it has not been until recently that I was really able to give it any of my focus. It has been awesome! I am even starting to understand the beauty of the coast!

For now I am learning to use the camera (nature is the easiest - it doesn't move much)! I am hoping to purchase different equipment in time and also pursue pictures of wildlife and more with people.

I hope you all enjoy my pictures half as much as I have enjoyed taking them!
